Milling metals has never been so easy!
During the course we will give you some notions about different metals and milling units. Afterwards, we model possible restorations such as abutments, crowns or bridges and prepare the milling units for the manufacturing process. Furthermore, we show you in detail everything you need to know when producing metal restorations, giving useful tips for an efficient workflow organisation.

Programme
Day 1 (all-day)
- Information about the hardware components of Zirkonzahn CAD/CAM system (wet grinding, filter, cleaning, Raw-Abutment® Holder ...)
- Scan process and design of a reduced 3-unit bridge; discussion about the setting parameters related to different materials
- Milling of the designed bridge
- Designing a single crown
- Milling a single crown in Sinternit (sinter metal)
- Explanation of the CAD/CAM Bars software module
- Designing a bar
- Using the milled single crown, overview of the Sinternit characteristics (processing method, sintering furnace …); starting the sintering process
- Answering open questions and milling the bar
Day 2 (morning)
- Evaluation of the milled bar and the sintered single crowns
- Design and nesting of a Raw-Abutment®
- Discussion about possible errors during nesting
- Milling of the Raw-Abutment®
- Examination of the milling results
- Resolve outstanding issues
