Using veneers, crowns and inlays in Prettau® 4 Anterior® zirconia, we show you how to color and characterize this particularly translucent material with the ICE Stains 3D by Enrico Steger and specific coloring techniques.

Used abrasive tools and diamond burs for processing pre-sintered zirconia as well as brush for coloring and layering with ceramics

Program

Day 1 (afternoon)

  • Basic characteristics, properties and range of application of Prettau® 4 Anterior® zirconia
  • Elaboration of unsintered Prettau® 4 Anterior® crowns 
  • Coloring the unsintered Prettau® 4 Anterior® crowns with Color Liquid Prettau® 4 Anterior® Aquarell
  • Drying and sintering the crowns overnight 

Day 2 (all-day)

  • Evaluation of the results of the previous day 
  • Ceramic layering: wash firing
  • Coloring with the ICE Stains 3D by Enrico Steger
  • Coloring the prepared inlays with the ICE Stains 3D by Enrico Steger
  • Coloring the prepared crowns, inlays and veneers with the ICE Stains 3D by Enrico Steger and glaze firing
  • Explanation of the firing cycle and temperatures 
  • Resolve outstanding issues
